Juniors age (13 – 18) receive $10 off the best available rate. Children who are 12 years old and under will have the accompanying adult pay only the cart fee.
Bar Run Golf and RV Resort is one of golf.com’s most anticipated new golf courses in the world!
Dan Hixson’s newly designed golf course, Bar Run, is located on the South Umpqua River in Roseburg, Oregon. “The land very much dictates the design at Bar Run. It’s a reclamation project for the mining operation, and that gave me a lot of flexibility to design memorable, challenging golf with a surprising amount of width at the same time. When you have this landscape — with no homes, a mix of large ponds, beautiful trees, the riverside setting along holes 10, 11 and 8 — and ownership like the Guido family who wants to build a fun experience both on and off the golf course, it really fires up your creativity.”
The 9th hole at Bar Run includes a tribute to Hogan Bridge at Augusta, the home of the Masters Tournament, and a prominently featured bridge that once was a train trestle. The views on the course take in the South Umpqua River, the nearby Callahan Mountains, and dramatic scenes incorporating the abundance of ponds throughout the property. The character and class at Bar Run have attracted the attention of Sports Illustrated and got featured in an article titled “Dishing Out Awards for Best Renovations, Restorations, and New Golf Courses From 2022”. This list complied with the feedback from architects, PGA professionals, superintendents, and other industry insiders to arrive at the most notable courses to open in the past 12 months. Bar Run received the Best Public Courses – Bronze Medal.
